Rain Springs TX?
I'm assuming Rain Springs is the name of the ranch or whatever this is. I now know Rain Springs is west of Carlsbad NM. Does anyone know who lived there in the 1930s-40s?
If anyone knows anything about a Rain Springs in west TX or eastern NM, perhaps associated with the Cooksey name or the Boyd name? I'd appreciate the info. My grandfather Bill Brown worked on a ranch at Pine Spring near Guadalupe Peak in the 1940s & was great friend with the Lloyd White family. Perhaps this is the connection?
