Rev. S. Warren Vreeland
I have an old photograph of Rev. Warren VREELAND which was taken at the Manly Gaylord’s Art Gallery in Medina, NY sometime in the 1880’s. Warren appears to be in his 30’s or 40’s at the time the photograph was taken. A note on the back says “he married my father and mother 5 Oct 1881”. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Warren and his family:

Rev. S. Warren VREELAND was b. 13 Apr 1834 in Romulus, NY to parents Abraham VREELAND (1797 in NJ – died 1865 in NY) and Catherine “Katy” GOODMAN (1800 in PA- died in NY). Warren was one of 9 children born to this couple including Syron B.; Charles B.; Warren; Warner; Lucinda; Abraham; Ann E.; Mary Jane; and Linus VREELAND, all born between 1830 and 1845. Warren married Ann Eliza BURNS (1841-1896) on 3 Jul 1858 in Shelby, NY. Warren died 15 Aug 1896 in Shelby, NY and is buried in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in West Shelby, NY.

I would like to get the photograph to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
