Elizabeth 'Betsy' S Crain Gragg
A photo of Elizabeth 'Betsy' S Crain Gragg (1806-1894) who married Elisha Perigan Gragg (1805-1874) in 1827 at Culpepper, Virginia. The photo is from the year of her death, age 88. Fortitude
Betsy had 7 children between 1828 and 1839 and she out-lived every one of them except the last, James Armenius Gragg (1839-1911). I have birthdates for 5 others, who lived to be 42, 24, 46, 41 and 25. :( I think she had a hard life, to face so much loss.
Betsy had 17 siblings (some full, some half), 6 of whom outlived her.
Betsy spent most of her life in the Pulaski, Kentucky area .
Betsy had 7 children between 1828 and 1839 and she out-lived every one of them except the last, James Armenius Gragg (1839-1911). I have birthdates for 5 others, who lived to be 42, 24, 46, 41 and 25. :( I think she had a hard life, to face so much loss.
