New Testament Baptist Church
This is a pix I found at my grandma's house taken at New Testament Baptist Church probably about 1968-69. It has alot of people in it I can't remember even tho I am in it. Some surnames are Carter, Pender, Benefield, Whitaker,Reid, & more. The church was and still is located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on Cape Rock north end of town. My g-pa Paul Carter was Deacon & my g-ma Pearl Worley Pender played piano. The kids with no shoes are Johnnie Carter's girls and the boy with no shoes is Johnnie's sister Linda Carter's son.

Sharron, Stacia & Raulph are the only ones in the picture still w/ us.

This is my grandpa Raymond John Pender. Ray was b., April 23 1905 in Rubel Missouri.He d., March 6 1992 and is buried in Hobb's Chapel Cemetary in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

This is a pix of George Otis Pender 'GEO' and his wife Ora Alice Pender 'Nerve'. I do not remember Ora but I was 10 when Geo died and I found him to very comical. We called him Geo. My family tells me Ora was a nervous person and they called her nerve.
