On left is my Grandmother, Willa Mae Pridgen, daughter of Swift Ernest & Pearlie Mae Walker Pridgen. She is abt 11-12 years old. In the center is Olivia Pridgen sister of Swift Ernest and Mattie Bernice Pridgen on the right is also sister of Swift Ernest. Granddaughter and daughters of Calvin Dixon and Davis Ann Moore Pridgen. Photo was made abt 1916
Willa Mae Pridgen Lynn
Willa Mae Pridgen daughter of Swift Ernest & Pearlie Mae Walker Pridgen was born Sept 24, 1905 and died May 11, 1997 and is buried in Whiteville, NC. She married James Carl Lynn, son of Jim and Betty Bowen Lynn. Willa Mae is my grandmother and her son Wiley born Dec 18, 1923 is abt one year old in this photo is my dad.

Papa married Thelma Laura Smith daughter of Thomas Lester and Bertha Rebecca Dellinger Smith of Bladen County, NC. Thelma was born April 7, 1920. Ernest Dixon and Sons owned and operated Pridgen Cabinet Wks, Inc in Whiteville, NC .Front L-R> Linwood, Ernest, Lester, back Michael, Rudolph, Randy & Paul Pridgen.

Wiley Thurman
Dad in his race car. He was sponsored by Ford Motor Company and Don's Speed Shop of Avenel, New Jersey. He raced the Daytona 500 and Indy 500 and won many many trophies. He gave away over 500 through the years. He retired in the mid 1970's.

Mattie Register Walker, wife of Wm. George Walker and daughter Cubie. Cubie was a twin of Dewey.

Walker Plantation
