Rouse Woman and Children
This is from a negative loaned to me when I was in Jr High by my "Gma", Alice Rouse. Alice's first husband was a Mr Lee and they had 2 sons, Alvin and Bill. The widow, Mrs Lee, married William L Flint, in the 60s. I believe this is one of Gma's Rouse family members. She also had a brother who wrote the book, "Montana Bullwhacker" in the 60s. I know very little about the Rouse family but have plenty of interest because this was the only gma I ever knew. She was an angel.
I would appreciate any leads to the family of my gma, Alice Rouse Lee Flint. She had a grandson in Pablo and other grandchildren in Great Falls, Montana. We grew up together during the summer months.

Do you know who this Rouse baby is? Can you lead me to the family of my gma, Alice Louisa Rouse? Can you lead me to her grandchildren raised in Great Falls and Pablo, Montana?

Grandparents' Graves
The graves of my paternal grandparents, Versell Tuttle (born April 10, 1922 and died February 1993) and Beulah [Parsley] Tuttle Caudle (born July 26, 1927 and died February 1999). They divorced in the 1970's but both had a son, Mark Tuttle that passed away in Oct. 1992 and both wanted to be buried by their son. Beulah and her son share the same headstone. The graves are in Millville Cemetery in Butler County, Ohio. This photo was taken on the day of their son, Elvin C. Tuttle's funeral (died on May 31, 2003 and buried June 2003).

Alex Bowling in Ky
This is a photo of Alexander "Alex" Bowling, born about 1852 (or 1855). He was the son of Isham Bowling and Mary "Polly" Garland. Isham may be the son of Joseph Bowling in Clay Co., Ky. Alex married Lucinda McFadden in Laurel County, Kentucky (the daughter of Westerfield McFadden and Mary Williams). This photo was probably taken in the early 1900's in either Clay County or Laurel County, Kentucky. My great aunt Kathleen (Parsley) McFadden shared this photo copy with me in 2002.
My grandmother, Beulah (Parsley) Tuttle Caudle always said there was Native American (Cherokee? "Indian") in her family on her Bowling side of the family. But it might not be from the Bowling line. Alex looks like he has Native American in him in this photo. I still haven't found any document to prove it. Census records only says that Alex was white for his race. It could just be a coincidence that he just looked Native American at the age he was in this photo and working out in the sunlight. In a younger photo and an older photo of him he doesn't look like he has any Native American in him at all. None of his children look like it either. There are stories of some Bowling families descended from Pocahontas. There's just too many Bowling families (white and red). I have not found any documented proof of this Bowling family descending from her. Some Bowling families are and some are not (and some 'others' may have other things in them). Not all are related.

Sweet Puppy
Puppy named 'Jeff' belonging to Cecil Nixon
The back of this card says'This is our new pup. His hame is Jeff. He's two months old and knows two tricks now. I haven't dressed him in doll clothes yet. Cecil Nixon' and it is addressed to 'Miss Gladys Nixon, 1207 Farrel St, Butte, Mont.' It was mailed from Hamilton, Montana March 11, 1912.
I am not a Nixon descendant. These photos were in an antique shop and I like to buy identified photos to return to the families that they belong to.
If you know who belongs to these photos, please contact me so that I might send them to the rightful owners. There will be no charge. This is simply a gift.

Mary & Ed
Marge & Ed Unknown's wedding photo.
Friends of my parents. I don't know the last name of Mary and Ed. They might have been from Chicago. However, since my father was in the Navy for 20 years, Mary & Ed could have been from anywhere between Florida, Chicago, Virginia Beach area but probably Chicago.
Because I know what a treasure family pictures are, I would like to locate them or their children and return this photo to them. If you recognize this picture, please contact me

Wojtkiewicz/Banas Wedding Announcement
Clipping of wedding announcement for Maria A Wojtkiewicz & Anthony L Banas. I believe they wed before a JP in June & had a "real" wedding in October as did many military men & their brides in the early 40s. Their wedding invitation's date is October. The portrait is of a large wedding party. Marie & Tony were good friends of my parents. My mom lived with Marie's family.

Unknown Women
The back of this post card photo says, 'Gladys'.
Judging by the other 4 photos in the set, I'm guessing that this might be Nora & Gladys Nixon.
This is only one of five related photos.
I found this post card photo in an antique shop in Columbia Falls, Montana and am hoping to find the family it belongs to so that I may return it. Please don't hesitate to contact me, as I have no intention of asking for any payment. My goal is to avoid family memories being sold to 'strangers'.
