About me:
I am very interested in Geneaology, Irish History, old photos, and family stories. Please contact me if you have any information to share about these families, or if you would like to compare notes. I would be happy to share what I have. My mother, Sandra Edna Pearce, God rest her, did a tremendous amount of research before the internet existed. I am eternally grateful for her hard work and dedication to putting together our family puzzle, and also for my husband's aunt, Janet Doris Cesta, who did the same for her family. Both of these women put forth a tremendous amount of effort in tracing their roots, so that future generations could know where they came from and learn a little bit about the stories of their ancestors. A special Thanks to Evelyn Lavina Poole Moore for the preservation of the history of the McFarlane (MacFarlane) Clan history.
About my family:
I haven't shared details about my family.

Daniel and Maria Henry (nee Hardy) with 9 of their children
This is a photo of my Great Great Grandparents Daniel and Maria Henry (nee Hardy), and 9 of their children. The couple had 16 children altogether. I'm not sure which children are in the photo. I'm told that my Great Grandmother, Mary Agnes, is the young lady in the back row on the left, but the one on the right looks most like her. The photo was taken in Attymass, County Mayo. I would love to hear from anyone who recognizes this photo and knows who the children are. Note: Some of the faces across the middle appear to be stretched due to the fact that the original had been folded and the crease distorted the copy image. The original was taken by O'Connor Bros Photography. Mary Agnes was about 16 when she emigrated to America around 1892, along with her sisters: Ellen Kate (Missie), about 18 yrs old, Henrietta, about 13 yrs old, and Annie, about 12 yrs old. I'm guessing the photo was taken around 1890
