Ray Shepherd Swander
Ray Shepherd Swander was born January 18, 1909 and died March 26, 1998. He was the son of Ira Anderson and Bessie May Shepherd Swander. He married Ruby Roma Elizabeth 'Babe' Jacks October 16, 1940. From March 1946 until August 1977, Ray worked as a traveling salesman in the middle west and in California and Texas. In 1977 he retired from the road. At age 67 he entered the real estate business and successfully sold real estate until 1993 when he retired at age 83.
Ira Anderson Swander
Ira was born January 28, 1882 and died September 27, 1975 the son of William Jefferson and Sarah Isabel 'Belle' Wilt Swander. He married Bessie May Shepherd on July 15, 1903.
Bessie May Shepherd Swander
Bessie was born January 28, 1882 and died April 30, 1965. She was the daughter of William Talbott and Mary Ellen Gamble Shepherd. She was married to Ira Anderson Swander on July 15, 1903.
