Cynthia Drayer

Hi....I am Cynthia Marie Drayer, biological child of Frank Edgar and Jorene Mary (Minor/Schuckman) Woolman. My mother was 14 and Frank was 21. My father was not in my life and he died before I could meet him. However, he had 3 wives, in addition to my mother. He had 10 children. I was adopted at the age of 2 by Jesse Lydon ("Lyn") and Aline Helen (Causkey/Harrington) Drayer. My bio. mother relocated me in 1977 when I was 24. It turned out that she was adopted as well, but I eventually located her birth certificate. (original last name was Minor through her mother/Siefert through her father, and adopted name was Schuckman). My adopted mother, Aline Helen (Causkey) Harrington indicates the clan name, Causkey, for the Harrington line in County Cork, Ireland. It is not a previous marriage name. My mother described my father as having red hair, in the army, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, blue eyes and freckles. Through Ancestry DNA, after my mother's death, I was connected to a first cousin on my father's side. Thus began my genealogical research on my biological mother and father. I had already conducted a data base for my adopted family lines.

Jesse Lyndon Drayer of Beaverton, Washington County, OR was born on April 13, 1912 at Pepper St., in Los Angeles County, California Usa, and died at age 87 years old on October 8, 1999 in Beaverton County, OR.

Hi....my name is Cynthia Marie Drayer and I have fond memories of my Grandpa Jesse. I was 11 when he died, but I feel like I knew him well. At the age of 12 I started conducting genealogical research on the Drayer family and eventually I accumulated a great deal of information about the Drayer's and all of the women that they married. When I met my uncles and cousins, I obtained information to form accurate charts. The father and mother that raised me were Jesse Lyndon ("Lyn") Drayer and Aline Helen (Causkey) Harrington. They had one child, Donna Aline Drayer. I was adopted at the age of 2 years in 1955. I had been born in Los Angeles, CA, but we moved up to Portland, OR, when my father got a new job selling Farberware. His brother, Herman, was Vice President and his territory was west of the Mississippi River. My father had the NW section which included Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, and part of Montana.

Sidney Cleall of San Francisco, San Francisco County, California was born on December 12, 1882, and died at age 94 years old in January 1977.
