Cynthia Gabbard
About me:
I am researching my father's line of Gabbard, Gardner, Peters, Claxton, Floyd. The Gabbard line originally came from Germany. The family members that I know of have lived in Kentucky, Arkansas, Oklahoma and my direct line is from Washington state. My mother's line are German's from Russia and include the following surnames: Weinbender, Bauer, Badt, Resich, Hoffman. Some immigrated to US (Montana, Kansas, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, and New York), others to Canada, and others?? I would love to hear from anyone to compare information!

Charles "Charlie" Wilson Doan, born 17 Jan 1912 in Mississippi, died in South San Gabriel, Los Angeles, California on 14 April 1961 and Nettie Mae Russell born 24 Mar 1925 in Borger, Hutchinson, Texas, died 10 May 1977 in Arkansas ? After Charles died, Nettie Mae Russell was married to John Warren Cooper. Charles and Nettie had 6 children: Charles Wilson Doan II, Gene Douglas Doan, Wendell Lee Doan, Diana Fay Doan, Johnny Doan, Bonnie Sue Doan. This photo is of the 2 oldest children: Charles or Chuck Doan and Gene Doan. Any information regarding this family would be greatly appreciated.

This picture was hidden under another framed portrait of the Heinrich Bauer and Maria Katharina Weinbender Family that was taken in Russia (Germans from Volga Russia) approximately 1910. I am guessing that it is Christ Phillip Weinbender, born in Mueller, Russia on 27 Aug 1883 and he died in Pueblo, Colorado on 01 Jan 1924. Christ was married to Mary Bauer. Or it may be a Bauer relative?? Can anyone identify this photo? Thanks
