2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Edward Roberge - US Army
Edward Roberge (my dad) was stationed at Ft. Dix at the time this photo was
taken. He was honorably discharged from the army in the spring of 1948. He
came back to Rolette, North Dakota - met my mom, Loretta Bourassa, and within
six months they were married. I was born a year later, with six more children
to follow. Their first winter as a married couple recorded the largest amount
of snow in that area since snowfall records were kept. That was in the winter
of 1948-1949.

Carl, maybe a Taylor, Martin or Scott
Carl is marked on back, probably from WWII. I heard the name Carl as a child. He may be a Taylor, Scott or Martin family member probably from southeast Missouri.
Not sure where this was taken as Carl was in the service and this was taken in front of a background that looks German?
