Simeon Broadway ROBINSON, sixteen years old.
SIMEON BROADWAY ROBINSON WAS A PRIVATE IN THE 21ST MISSISSIPPI INFANTRY REGIMENT, CO. G. MADISON GUARDS. HE FOUGHT IN ALL OF THE MAJOR BATTLES AND WAS PAROLED AT APPOMATTOX COURT HOUSE, VIRGINIA ON APRIL 9, 1865.
HE WAS BORN IN SOUTH CAROLINA IN 1845. MOVED WITH HIS FAMILY TO FANNIN, MISSISSIPPI ABOUT 1850. MARRIED MATTIE DOUGLAS IN 1869. DIED IN 1895. HE IS BURIED IN THE FANNIN CEMETERY WITH A CONFEDERATE MARKER. HE WAS MY GREAT, GREAT GRANDFATHER.

Charles Foster and daughter Beulah Foster
Charles Foster was born in Franklin Co., IN, the son of John W. Foster and Mary Davis; he married first to Martha J. Kinney in Marion Co., IL and they raised 4 children together: James Lee, John H., Hannah Foster Seaman, and Loyd Oscar Foster; Charles married second to Mattie Ruff abt 1900 and they had a daughter, Beulah Marjorie Foster who married Carl Enlow Hoots in Missouri.
