Robert was born at 9 Priory St., Bromley by Bow (Poplar) - As well as shown below he served in the Labour Corps where his regimental no. was 426584. "Casualty status: wounded. Regimental no. 27292 King's Royal Rifle Corps. Place of enlistment, Mile End, London. Daily List Date 30th August, 1917. List no.5351, Casualty Lists."

Mary Morgan was born in 1881 in London United Kingdom, and died at age 56 years old on September 15, 1938 in Dagenham, Greater London County, England. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Mary Morgan.


Charles was a Corporal in the Royal Engineers - 19 Field Company - Service number 2129262 - Killed in action in Normandy on the 6th June, 1944 - the first day of the Invasion by the Allies! - Buried in the Bayeux War Cemetery, Normandy, France. See photo's of Military Death record attached. Bayeux grave ref. X.J.24. Home address was: 69, Longbridge Road, Dagenham, Essex. Charles was born at 79a Bishops Road, Bethnal Green which was the address of the Public Assistance Hospital. There was a workhouse in the same road and it's likely these two institutions were linked.
