Gail Cynthia Joseph was born in Trenton, New Jersey, to William Jacob Joseph (1926-2009) and Sydelle Friedland (1930-1962) and she had four brothers and one sister. Gail may have been married to William A Joseph, who was born in 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio but a record of the marriage doesn't exist and he is not mentioned in her obituary. They divorced on February 7, 1985.
Gail worked as a former NBC publicist, specifically in the comedy division of the television show "Friends." Sadly, she passed away a few weeks before the airing of the episode titled "The One with Ross' Teeth." This episode, which is the 8th episode of the sixth season, aired on November 18, 1999, and was dedicated to Gail Joseph. More information about her profession can be found at this link: Gail C Joseph: Professions.
She graduated from Ewing High School in New Jersey and then attended the Actor's School in New York City before working for two years at NBC and CBS. Later, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she served as a publicist at the Nancy Selzer Agency, worked with Garry Shandling, and held the position of comedy division manager for Electronic Publicity NBC in Burbank, California.
The circumstances surrounding Gail's death remain unknown. There is speculation that her body was found in a wooded area near the Delaware River and that she may have died from strangulation. However, there is no verified documentation to confirm these claims. A copy of Gail's obituary can be found at Gail C Joseph: Obituary.
