About me:
I have been looking for the birthplace in Ireland of my Great Great Grandfather, Edward Healy/Haley for several years. My sister and I have traveled to Ireland twice and spent a day at the National Library in Dublin looking for his birth record, to no avail. He was born abt. 1840 in County Cork, possibly Boherbue, and he came to America in 1851. He may have had a brother named John and an aunt Hannah (Healy) Sheehan. He married Mary Nolen in PA and they raised their family in Mahanoy Township, PA, where he labored as a coal miner.

I haven't shared details about my family.
