noon hour at Deaver Canal
This is a group that was working on the Deaver Canal at Frannie location...taken near Cowley, Wyoming.
margaret parker at deaver canal wyoming
This is taken from an album from somebody who apparently worked for the Bureau of Reclamation. It would seem Margaret Parker's father was there and she came to the camp with him and probably her mother. The Deaver Canal photos seemed to be all from 1916.

Apparently Al Youngblut was working with the Bureau of Reclamation or a contractor of the Bureau of Reclamation on the Deaver Canal Project in 1916. This picture came from a photo album showing many public works projects that was in the possession of J Huddleston Co.

HV Hubbell at Deaver Canal Wyoming
This is from an album that had many pictures about the building of Deaver Canal in 1916. This allegedly was HV Hubbell who was the chief of the party working on the project. However, there is another picture of a man on the same horse named Chub. They look very similar. The other man's name is Loyd Sowards.

This is from a collection of pictures taken in Wyoming at the Department of Reclamation's building of Deaver Canal near Cowley. Cavan and Sutphin are standing in front of a tent that they probably lived in while working there. Sutphin handles the instruments, per the description on one of the photos.
