Rafael Mascorro was born in Rancho San Rafael, Brownsville, Texas, Cameron County off of Southmost Road. He was baptisted at Inmaculate Conception Cathedral on Mar. 25, 1883 and born Apr. 20, 1882. Rafael Mascorro was married to Pomposa Trevino on Sept. 3, 1915 in Brownsville, Texas at Inmaculate Conception Cathedral. He died Sept. 1, 1928 due to tuberculosis, and is buried at City Cemetery of Brownsville, in Brownsville, Texas. Rafael and Pomposa had the following children, Antonio, Anselmo, Maria, Jorge, and San Juanita Mascorro.

Anselmo Mascorro died at age 66 years old on September 3, 1987 at 1084 Irving Park Rd., in Bensenville, DuPage County, IL, and was buried on September 6, 1987 at Arlington Cemetery 401 E Lake St - Grave 4-D, Lot 755, Section 11, in Elmhurst.
