Fathers Name was Thomas according to his record of marriage in Walsall, Stafford, England. He married Rachel Martin, listed as spinster, daughter of Aaron Martin in St. Paul's Church by E.M. Fitzgerald and witnessed by H. Dixon and F.F. Finder.
Thomas died in a mining accident. His brother William found his body. The Midland Sun Newspaper wrote about the Fatal Accident at Hamstead Colliery. he left his wife, Rachel and 9 children.
