T. William Palmer
William enlisted on May 23, 1898 at Shelbyville Illinois. He was assigned to Company M and served 2 years in the Army.
William was born in Coshocton, Ohio December 21, 1876.

Bates-Geers House Architectural Style: Greek Revival Built between 1825 - 1840 Historic Person to build: Addison Bates Not far from Paddy's Chapel there stood the old Addison Bates home. Bates was one of the early settlers in Texas County, Mo. and owned a sawmill. Bates was from the south and he constructed a home unsurpassed in the hills in its day, modeling it after the colonial plantation homes of his home. The home later was sold to William & Mary Roby. John Geers then purchased the home. Later it was sold to the son Charles Geers son of John. Charles married Sylvania Rose Neal.
