He married Mary Ellen Easter (1921-2019) right after high school on December 20, 1941 in Phoenix, Arizona. They had three children, Elaine A., Kirby L., and Gregg A. He later married Barbara Brown, but she died a few months after their marriage in March of 1975. Barbara was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas and had been a teacher in El Paso Public Schools.
Aaron was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Coast Guard as a radioman. After the war he initially worked for the Civil Air Association in New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas as an Air Traffic Controller. In the Fifties he worked in ICAO (IKO) The International Civil Aviation Organization, Headquartered in Montreal, Canada. This took him and his family to Damascus, Syria and Jakarta, Indonesia.
He applied to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Research and Engineering as the supervisor of Department D-16. One of his projects was the conversion of the old CAA to the Federal Aeronautics Administration (FAA). In the seventies he moved his family to Radium Springs, New Mexico and opened a small store and gas station. He divorced in the seventies and moved to El Paso to hold a teaching position with a Real Estate firm. Then he retired.
Aaron was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1975 and was afforded the honor of having been buried in Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas.
