My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!

I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth.
So while she didn't have the opportunity to meet him, at least he will be able to know her.

My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.

Wade was my first true love. From the minute I laid eyes on him I knew he would be. Now he can join his beloved sister Pam, and his brother, Bill. We dated, we fought, we loved most of all. His voice, smooth as silk and he could get me to do anything when he said my name and only asked... How I miss him...decades later. My heart will always belong to Wade, and I'll never forget the day I found out about his passing.

Wade Spencer Douglas was born on September 13, 1960 in Columbia, Richland, South Carolina, USA to parents James Pryor "Bo Peep" Douglas Jr (1921-1994) and Grace Patricia Taylor Douglas (1933-2014). He had four siblings including William Louis Douglas (1952-2012) and Linda Susan Douglas Cox (1953-1982).
He moved to Florida around the 1980's and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida, USA. On July 5, 1984 in Miami-Dade, Florida he married Rebecca Diane Canterbury. The couple had two sons together and then later divorced on March 12, 1990.
