Flowerree family
Col. Flowerree was born 26 Oct 1842, Fauquier Co. Va. He moved to MO with his parents but returned to Va. to attend VMI. At the outbreak of the civil war, he left VMI and rode to Fauquier to join the Confederacy. On 3 June 1862 he was promoted to Lt. One man described Flowerree as "the most immodest, obscene, profane low blackguard on this earth." His father and my 1st cousin x removed was Col. Daniel Routt Flowerree b. 1799 Fauquier Co. Va. His grandfather was also Daniel Routt Flowerree b. abt. 1730 and lived in Fauquier Co. Many of this Fauquier Flowerree family moved to MO as well. Col. Flowerree's cousin was Col.
