Anna (Dunn) Cobis
Anne "Nancy" Marie Catherine Dunn was born to William Henry Dunn (1891 - 1962) and Eleonora "Nora" Ann Broderick (1892 - 1931). She had one brother, Bernard Anthony Dunn (1927 - 1997) and three half-siblings, Irene Catherine Elizabeth, Catherine Marie Elizabeth, and Elizabeth "Billie" Dunn. Anna (Dunn) Cobis' actual birth name was Anna, but later documents were changed to "Anne". She was known to most people as "Nancy". The oldest of 5 living children, Anna's mother died when she was approximately 10 years old. Her father remarried and they had 4 more children, Irene, Bernard, Catherine ("Cathy) and Elizabeth ("Billi"). The 2nd wife died soon after Elizabeth was born. Anna (Nancy) was a bright, enthusiastic person. She joined the US Navy after she graduated from East Rockaway High School, Class of 1942. While she was stationed in Washington, DC, she met Stephen J. ("John") Cobis (born 1928), who was also in the Navy. They married in 1950 at the Navy Chapel in Washington, DC. They had five children: a son and four daughters. Anne was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, having served in the United States Navy.

Mary (Cobis) Kramer of Tennessee United States was born on October 5, 1956 in Lakehurst, Ocean County, NJ to Anna (Dunn) Cobis and Stephen John (Cobis,) Jr.. Mary Kramer has siblings Anne (Cobis) West, Theresa Bernardette (Cobis) Townsend, Molly Owen (Cobis) Hakes, and Stephen Francis Cobis.
