William Thomas Waggoner was born on October 6, 1850 in Natchitoches Parish County, Louisiana United States to Robert Whit Waggoner, and had siblings Ellen (Waggoner) Goodson and Alabama Annie Waggoner. His brother Narl was married to Ellen Waggoner, and after his brother's death, Thomas married Ellen on Decemebr 29, 1882 in Campti, Natchitoches, Louisiana, USA. They had children Ursula (1884-1967), Josephine Agnes (1885-1948), Dennis (1890-1956), Ellis Joseph (1892-1934), Thomas Jefferson (1894-1980), Oma Gabriel (1894-1973), Lola (1896-1980), Emeline (1898-1978), and Vivian Goodson (1900-1980).
He was arrested for murder on July 14, 1905, read more here Alleged Assassins . However on August 11, 1909 he was pardoned.

Vivian Woodward died at age 80 years old on June 25, 1980 at Schumpert Medical Center 1 St. Mary Place, in Shreveport, and was buried on June 27, 1980 at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport.
