2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Sinclair Harley of Scooba, Kemper County, MS was born on June 12, 1949, and died at age 60 years old on January 16, 2010.
I met Shirley when both of us were attending night school. We were both very young and very pregnant. We looked so much alike that we could have been sisters, and that is how we noticed each other in school. It was like looking in a mirror though we both certainly had different parents. She went on to have a boy and I had a girl, one month a part. I know that Shirley went on to have some difficult times, later in life, but it haunts me as to why and how she died. We lost contact in the 70s. I think about her every November 1st and I wish her a happy birthday. She died much too young.
