William Mosby Terry was raised strong family ties in rural Kentucky. He had and two brothers and five sisters, his father died when he was eighteen years old and he became the man of the family, helping raise his younger siblings until h married at the age of 26 to Alice Lucille Tyler who lived nearby in rural Carlisle County. He began working construction and moving about the country, eventually becoming a Pipe fitter. In 1942 he joined the Seabees and served in the Pacific in WW 2. He had one son, Michael Ray Terry, born January 27 1943 in Cairo, Illinois.

This photo is marked Andy Terry. On the back it is marked Jetts Creek Ky. Some how the Terrys are related to the Mullins. I was given this photo by a great aunt. She wasn't sure how Andy Terry was kin. Rumor has it that Andy may have been America Mullins's (my grandmother's) son by another marriage. I hope some one can identify this photo.
