Rudy Luna wrote and directed the Christian drama film "My First Miracle" released in the year 2015. The movie starred Jason London, Sean Patrick Flanery, Quinton Aaron. Valerie Cruz, and Shad Gaspard. You can scroll down to read a "Dove" review of the movie. The DVD was release in May 2016. The movie was filmed in Monroe NY
Rudy has also written "Stolen Education" (a documentary), "Shadow Witness", "PrimeMates", and "Attract Opposites" (short screenplay). He has credits as a director, editor, actor ("Cowboys and Angels"), and cinematographer.
In a press release about the movie "My First Miracle" for DVD it says:
"Writer/director Rudy Luna was inspired to make My First Miracle after experiencing the tragedy of his own family member being diagnosed with cancer. He wanted to tell a story not just about the patient, but also about the way a family copes during the crisis.
“In this particular story, the young girl with cancer needs a bone marrow transplant and because she is bi-racial, her match is nearly impossible”, says Luna. “I want people to understand how important it is, especially if you are bi-racial, to register as bone marrow donor. This could literally save someone's life”.
