Jack Hardy Taylor was born on June 6, 1924, and died at age 20 years old on February 28, 1945. Jack Taylor was buried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetery 26. E. 4. in Germany. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Jack Hardy Taylor.

Northumberland, Engeland.
Killed in action in Sevenum, The Netherlands on November 21st 1944.

A patrol of the Reconaissance Troop went on patrol on 21-11-1944 (the day of the liberation of Sevenum) to explore "De Vorst", a hamlet of Sevenum. On the Saardijk Lance Sergeant Brown's tank ran on a mine and tank driver John Shiells was killed. He was buried on the spot where he died. His grave was located between the houses of the Pauwels family and the Janssen family. John has been buried here until August 1st 1947 when his mortal remains were taken to Mook War Cemetery. Till that moment his grave was adopted and tended by the widow Mrs. Pauwels who lived on the Saardijk.
