Hollie Reed died in 1918. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Hollie Reed.


Son of Lorenzo and Emarillas Exline Strosnider. He went by the name Frank. Frank was killed in a train werck while in the militray, He died between 1910 and 1912 but his body was not shipped back to the states for burial until 1913.

This Lady is possibly Mahala Stroud 1st Wife of George Washington Phillips of Milton Towntownship, Jackson County Ohio, or one of his Sisters, or his 2nd Wife Emiline Houdshelt. I place this tin-type photo
about 1855. It is also possible that she is an Ervin of the same area.

Orville Lamar Phillips
S1st Class Orville L. Phillips was the son of Lucius and Mary Murl Moore. He was stationed at the Momote Airbase on Manus in the Admiralty Islands. He often described severe air raids that hit his base from the Japanese Base at Rabaul. He witnessed the explosion of the ammunition ship U.S.S. Mount Hood in Seeadler Harbor.

Margaret Phillips
Margaret (Hattie) Phillips: Daughter of Albert Thomas & Alice Redden Phillips of Milton Township, Jackson County Ohio. Hattie died of Tuberculosis in the summer of 1898 at the age 0f 21. The story is that she was engaged to be married, but the prospective groom is unknown to me.
