2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

There was always a big Hurrah Hurrah and never a dull moment when brother and uncle Ernie stopped by for a visit at his sister Margaret's house. Ernie was always warmly welcomed and will be lovingly remembered by me. From niece Sharon.
Paul Stawnychka was born in 1925 at Canora Sask, Canada, and died at age 86 years old in 2011 at Regina, Sask., Canada. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Paul Stawnychka.
Uncle Ernie was full of character and had a quirky sense of humor. He used to do one of those Ukrainian dances that you see at the Canadian Ukrainian festival in Toronto, Canada when he was a young man. He gave it a good try anyway. I remember watching the historic Apollo 11 moon landing with uncle Ernie. The Eagle has landed! Someone kept playing the song Sugar Sugar Candy Girl by the Archies.

Family and friends called Miroslaw "Mack". He was greatly loved and very sadly missed by Margaret who often talked fondly of him. Mack was always remembered for his kind nature. I love you also Mack, although I never got to meet you. You are not forgotten. Always remember.
