I am curently researching my geneology and would love to be of help or be helped in doing so with any info. you may have. My grandmother was Dessie P. Mattocks, daughter of Henry A. Mattocks and Queenie M. Nelson. I was told they are decendentsof the Kristie or Christie family but don't know for sure. I have traced some of the Mattocks back to PA. but don't know if the Franklin Eli Mattocks I found there was the correct ancester. Yes, though new to this I am already at a block..But I refuse to give up. thank you

This is one of many Nelson photos which I cannot describe. I do know that they are the sisters of Queenie Missouri Nelson.

My Great Grandmother Queenie Missiori Nelson
Queenie Missouri Nelson married my grandfather, Henry Alonzo Mattocks, somewhere about 1902 possibly. She was born in Missouri, but also lived in California and Oklahoma where my grandmother Dessie P. Mattocks was born on 11-17-23. Other children of Queenie and Henry were ,I believe, Clara Belle,Wanda May,Vera Ella,Opal,Ruby,and two sons Sherman W. and Henry Alonzo (jr.).
I cannot find any info on Queenie or who her parents were.
