Hi Kathy Newton: I am the great-granddaughter of Waldo Freligh Newberry. I was so happy to find out that you had posted family pictures of so many Newberry members. I found this out through Ancestry, which told me of the website AncientFaces I hope you are able to give me and my Aunt Eileen more information of the Newberry documents and pictures! About my family:
Hi Kathy Newton: I found the family pictures that you posted from the Newberry family. My great-grandfather was Waldo Freligh Newberry, and his father was William Stewart Newberry a newspaper man. Ella Newberry-Fisher was half sister of William Stewart Newberry. Waldo Freligh Newberry passed away at age 93 in Portland, Oregon, at an assisted living facility near family there. We have the framed picture of Waldo Freligh Newberry in his Marine Uniform from WWI. Who gave you all the family pictures? Would like to know more about them. Take care, Sue Lynch

Ruth Newberry-Carlisle was the sister of Waldo Freligh Newberry. She married Heber John Carlisle, Jr. on Dec 28, 1935, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had no children of their own. She passed away at Latter Day Saints Hospital @ 2:30 a.m. on 3 May 1952, of a Coronary Occlusion of the Heart and Heart Palpatations at the age of 49. She was a bookkeeper at the Western Newspaper Union.
