Mary Snyder is the only one living with George and Anna Fechtig. 2nd Gen CATHERINE SNYDER (John Adam Snyder) was born 10 Jul 1864 in Pennsylvania, and died 18 Mar 1951 in Mt. Savage (Allegany) Maryland. She is the daughter of John Adam Snyder( b: 07 Feb 1830, Germany, d: 18 Apr 1878, PA) and Mary Hostetler (b: 09 Apr 1835, PA d: 1921, PA). Family lore as it is told by my mother's father Frank Snyder, that Catharine Snyder never married, but she did have 3 children. According to some census they have her listed as a widow so it is not known for sure. They could of assumed at this time and era that she was widowed since she had children. Can’t find any record either way. Children of Catharine Snyder are: 1. Clara Dovie Snyder, b: 10 Oct 1885, Pennsylvania, d: 29 Jun 1978, Los Angeles, CA 2.
