M. Montana:
Ketan - You Are Never Forgotten - I met Ketan when I was 10 years old, having to spend summers with my father. I was riding my bike past his home and he wiped out on his BMX. I asked if he was okay and he said yes. Then I met him a few days later through a mutual friend, who always talked about Ketan. We never introduced ourselves when we first met but then were formally introduced by chance a few days later. I spent all my summers as a kid with Ketan who served to give me much needed escape being trapped in a home that was very unwelcoming. He brought love and solace with him but more so it was his ability to make people laugh hysterically that was his true gift. I think about him often and had a dream about him many years ago where he was in an elevator with me and told me something but I just can't remember what he told me. The dream felt so very real, and it was years after he passed away. Lots of Love & Light Ketan - Give Yash a huge hug from me and say hello to your dad for me too.
Diane Annunziata:
My Grandmother - My Grandmother could cook some delicious meals. We would go visit her in Springerton on Thanksgiving when we lived in Wisconsin and when we lived in Chicago. First thing when we got out of the car we asked her if we could go see all the pies, shortcakes and other things she made in the back screened in area. The whole L shaped screened area was covered in all kinds of wonderful yummies and orange crush was all the way up the wall. My Grandma could cook. I loved her white gravy and she asked what I wanted for breakfast I told her just a bowl of her bacon gravy. The new church in town came out with the cook book full of recipes my Grandmas other grandmas my aunts yummy recipes which I treasure still to this day. I have many wonderful memories I charish of my days visiting my Grandmothers home. I misd her very much
Marquis Elliott:
My uncle John - When I was a little girl my uncle worked everyday building houses. He packed his lunch for work everyday so when he would come home in the evening as soon as he got out the car I would run to him asking him if I could have some of his soda and he would tell me no. So on this one time he said yes and handed it to me so I took it and turned it up to my mouth and when it got to my mouth I spit it out so fast because it wasn’t soda it was liquor. He said now he won’t have to worry about me anymore.

Diane Annunziata:
My Uncle Dean - My uncle Dean was a very nice man who had a pug named Susie. I remember my uncle telling us that she was going to have puppies. I asked him if we could have one of her puppies and he said we would see and that Christmas we got one of her puppies and named her Heidi.
Arelative Ofthisperson:
Forever missed - My beloved grandmother, even death has not broken our bond. She sometimes visits me in my dreams, and sometimes when I am sleeping. And yes, there is a difference and yes, I have experienced both. It is a gift. If you think I’m crazy, nobody descended from M. Maureen is completely sane. Her son said she was nuts when she was younger, raising him and his siblings, but she was an amazing grandmother, and I will treasure my memories with her, always. She was not from Princeton- that is where she ended up. She lived in Oradell, NJ the majority of her life.
Dana Lathrop:
World War II Veteran - He served in First Armored Division during WWII. He was in the Africa Campaign in North Africa, when the Americans and British did battle with Field Marshall Erwin Rommel. He once said they were in full retreat, when they topped a hill and saw the British had stopped mid-flight to take tea. Many of his stories were not humorous. Those he kept to himself always. He was wounded at Anzio in Sicily. He took shrapnel in the hip and leg, while attempting to put out a fire on his tank. He held two purple hearts and had a pin in his hip from that time onward. His friend Branson Hall saved his life by leaving his cover to pull him to safety. Because of Branson Hall, I came into being. He saved my father's life, so he could go home and have a life and a family later. James Paul Lathrop is my father.
Lourdes Cotto:
Rogelio was my father in law. - I only have beautiful memories of him. Rogelio was a lovely man, My husband told me that he took care of his mom and siblings when his dad passed. I know how much he loved his wife María, his son Edgardo and his grandson Kevin. His hobbies, radios. He loved to build radios and to fix it. In the World War II he was a Technician fourth grade (T/4 or TEC4), Sergeant. Rogelio lived with us for one year before he passed. Now he is in peace with our Lord.

Laura Craft:
She was the most beautiful woman I ever saw - When I was as a child, I would look up at my mother, at her lush, black hair, her perfect teeth, her flawless complexion, and hope that someday I would be as beautiful as she because I thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world. On the day that she died, just a few days short of age 89, I looked down at her with her lush snow white hair, her perfect teeth, her flawless complexion with no wrinkles And I knew that I have been right. She was the most beautiful woman in the world.
