Hazel Bau Goodman Killduff
I have an old postcard photograph of Hazel GOODMAN which was taken some time between 1907 and 1917. The photograph was a gift to Miss Bertha ALTHAUS of Roseburg, Oregon. Hazel identifies herself as "Your friend and schoolmate" so I believe that she is from Roseburg as well. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Hazel and her family:

Hazel Bau GOODMAN was b. Jun 1898 in Oregon to parents Benjamin “Ben” Franklin GOODMAN (1871-1929) and Ada Frances WILLIAMS (1873-1942). Hazel had two siblings including Shirley Harold GOODMAN (1893-1966) and Myrtle Merle or Muriel GOODMAN (1895-1972). Hazel married Archie Raymond KILLDUFF (1894-1969) on 13 Aug 1917 in Salem, OR and Hazel died 26 Oct 1973 in Eugene, OR.

I am hoping to locate someone from Hazel’s family so that the photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.

Thanks,
Shelley

I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth. So while she didn't have the opportunity to meet him, at least he will be able to know her. For more information about what we're building see About AncientFaces. My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
