Larry (born Lawrence) Gates is one of those men you always knew walked into a room. He dedicated his life to serving his country, help raise children - not just his own, always lent a hand to help strangers and friends, and the majority of his career working to support the contractors & unions that built Silicon Valley into the technology powerhouse it is today.
He is missed, but his impact lives on today through the many of us his life touched.

I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth.
So while she didn't have the opportunity to meet him, at least he will be able to know her.
