Ray Cyrus Cortland Young was born on October 12, 1894 to Isiah McClellan Young and Mary Alice Young, and had siblings Harold Glynnis Young, James L. Young, Guy E. Young, Joe L. Young, and Lillian Eunice Young. He married Lina Ellen (Rush) Young, and had a child Herbert Lee Young. Ray Young died at age 60 years old on November 27, 1954, and was buried on November 30, 1954 at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
