Baron's palace at Casalanguida
The Baron's Palace is where Annia Cauli grew up. It is one of many buildings on the estate, including a country home, and a private chapel with its own priest. The residents at the time used all of the buildings, but it was invaded during the war and is now owned by the government. It is currently a tourist attraction and has been renovated into shops.
We are very interested in hearing from anyone else who descends from the Caulis of Casalanguida, or any of the other ruling families of antiquity there. Please contact me if you have more information.

Baronessa Annina Cauli Forchette
Dona Annin, "Lady Ann", daughter of Baron Nicolo and Cristina Difrancesca Cauli of Casalanguida, which is in Chieti, Italy.
Annina was born in 1876 and immigrated to the US in June of 1915. Her husband Arturo Forchette had previously arrived and met her here. They lived in Philadelphia in the 1920s and 1930s. Annina died Sept. 16, 1946.

These were my mother's parents Osberto Roberto Forchette ( known as Robert) and Mary Reil Forchette, one day at the beach. Yes, those are bathing suits, ha ha

Charlie C. Garrett & Leona Peak Garrett wedding
These are my grandparents, Charlie C. Garrett (1882-1966) and Leona Peak Garrett (1891-1981). I was told by my grandmother she was 16 at the time and this was their wedding picture. They had 8 children: Virgil, Evelyn, Kathleen, Charles, Marvin, Nellie, Dorothy, and Clarence.
