About me:
I found an old trunk in what used to be my G-Grandparent's barn(Gann side of my Family). This trunk had very old personal letter's and postcard's saved from back when Oklahoma was Indian Territory. The letter's were written by different family member's from Arkansas to Indian Territory. The oldest letter I think is dated 1884. I also recently met a cousin who had my G-Grandmother's(on my Walker side) old Picture box, He was kind enough to let me bring it home and scan everything inside. My Grandmother(Elva Joy Walker(Gann) also introduced me to a Cousin named Theola Walden Baker who compiled "The Gann Family 1705-1996". Once I 1st read it and with all the above, I've been "hooked" ever since! I'm researching names on my Dad's side of Bailey, Gann, Green, Dooly, Moreland, Spann, Smart, Trout, and Walker. I'm also researching names on my Mother's side of Baty, Mace, Morris, Mixon, and Oakley. Thank You in advance for any light you might shed on my Family Tree history yet to be discovered by me. C-1 Cargo
My Great Aunt Bessie Green(Gann) had this picture hanging on her wall for about 40 years. She moved to California back in the early 1940's and said she worked on 6 different ships there. I have no name for this ship. Does anyone know the name or why there seems to be a name on the front that has been painted over with white paint? On the back is written C-1 Cargo and the numbers "414".

My Great Aunt Bessie Green(Gann) handed down this picture to me. She told me that she moved to California and worked on 6 different ships back in the early 1940's. This picture has been hanging on her Living Room wall for about 40 years. I don't have a name for the ship at this time. The only thing written on the back is "Frigget". Does anyone know what the name of this ship was and why there seems to be a name painted over on the front side?
Morris/Batey/Mixon/Oakley
Looking for any info on this Family. I don't think anybody even know's we exist. Loy Glenn Morris was my Biological Grandfather. I know that Glenn lived in Tyler,Tx and his parent's lived around Houston,Tx. I've been told that I still have living family member's in both places. All of these people on this document have now passed away.

My Myers family came from Germany, ending up most living in Indian Territory (Oklahoma) to northern Texas. My Vannosdoll and Frisby family came from England, ending up in Kansas and I.T./Oklahoma. Unfortunately, I don't know much very about those two families as they have been hard to research. My Holcomb families are mostly from Oklahoma and Texas also. The Native/Spanish sides are of the Southwest region of the United States. Spanish, came from Spain, as explorers, eventually ending up in the Rio Arriba, New Mexico and San Luis Valley of Colorado areas. My Hall and Roland families lived in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

Loy Glenn Morris Military Photo 1944
This is my Grandfather Loy Glenn Morris, born Jan 1,1923. Glenn was in the Military in 1944. He was 21 and my Grandmother was 18. Glenn was Cpl in the Army. His parent's were Robert Daniel Morris and Emma Lee Mixon. Glenn had 2 brother's, the 1st brother was a half-brother named Vanoid that Robert had before he met Emma. The 2nd brother was Arlis Morris who was a full brother thru Emma. Robert Daniel and Emma lived in Houston, Texas. Loy Glenn married my Grandmother Gracie Florence Baty, and between this union had my Mother Billie Glyn Morris(Walker) born July 4 1944 while living in Edom, Tx. Sometime in the next 4 year's they seperated, I can't find any record of Divorce. I know that Glenn remarried a woman by the name of Elizabeth and lived in Tyler,Tx and had 2 more daughter's, the 1st was Glenda born in 1948 and the 2nd was Betty Sue born in 1952. Glenn passed away in April of 1981. If you know anything of Glenn Morris or anything about this Family please contact me. My family would only like copies of more Information and possibly Pictures. 1936 Tupelo Mississippi Disaster
This photo is 8 inch's tall by approximately 4.5 feet long. It took me 5 scan's to get it all scanned from one end to the other. I thought some people would like to see it. Hand written on the back of this picture is "Joe Wallace and Elizabeth Wallace".
Green Family Record #1
This was found in my G-Grandmother's picture box that I recently discovered from a cousin, Donnie Walker. He was nice enough to let me take the whole box home to scan everything in it. The 1st is my GG-Grandfather Frank Major, 2nd is his wife Julia (Trout), and 3rd is their son Joseph Leslia Green.

Marion Francis Gann and Sarah Jane Bailey both moved in with my G-Grandparent's Tom and Fannie Gann(Bailey) after both of their spouses had passed away. Marion F. is Tom's Dad, and Sarah Jane Bailey is Fannie Melvina's Mother. Sarah Janes mother was Nancy Ann Smart. Marion's dad was Adam Alfred Gann.

Infant Green son #2 Headstone
This infant son born and died October 12, 1890. Son of James Harvy and Angeline Green. James was the brother to my GG-Grandfather Frank Major Green. James lost his young wife who was just 23 when she died, and he lost his 2 infant son's all in the same year of 1890 just month's apart.
