W.J.Dossett and Mary T. Woodham Maund Dossett of Dale County, Alabama.
Photo of William James Dossett and his wife Mary T. Woodham Maund Dossett. Before she and W.J. married, Mary was a widow with two or three children by her deceased husband Joseph Maund. Her children (in the front)are John Thomas Dossett (the baby,probably), Lucinda Dossett (center), and James Elbert Dossett (on the right on father's knee). Nellie Maund is standing to the left and her brothers (names unknown) are standing behind their mother and stepfather. The baby may be their daughter Martha Jane Dossett and not John Thomas. John Thomas Dossett may have been born a year and a half after this family photo was taken.

William James Dossett (aka "Dawsitt") married a widow named Mary T. Woodham Maund Dossett. WJ became stepfather to her five children. They had three children of their own, John Thomas, James Elbert, and Martha Jane Dossett.
