Henry D. COURTNEY aka Henry C. DECOURTNEY was born in VA, but had moved to OH by 1845 when he enlisted and was stationed at Fort Kearney, NE. He fought in the Mexican War and was an earlier settler in Oklahoma Indian Territory.
