I looking for information on Herschel Valentine Goins who lived in Madison Co.KY in the Valley View area long branch or Cuzik KY around 1910 he married Lucy Ann Howard in 1910.His Father was Robert Franklin Goins who married Isabelle Saurs,Sours,Sowers.Thanks for any help.

W.J.W. Clardy fought as a private with Company D, Alabama 41st in the Civil War. He enlisted on May 7,1862.
Rev.William John W. Clardy was born July 9, 1840 in Stafford, Pickens Co, AL and died June 25, 1895 in Pickens Co, AL.
He is my 2x Great Grandfather.
W.J.W. Clardy fought as a private with Company D, Alabama 41st in the Civil War. He enlisted on May 7,1862.
Rev.William John W. Clardy was born July 9, 1840 in Stafford, Pickens Co, AL and died June 25, 1895 in Pickens Co, AL.
He is my 2x Great Grandfather.

This is a 1910 wedding picture with Pappy Herschel Valentine Goins (front row left) and Lucy Ann (Howard)Goins his sweet bride we called Granny to his right. I was told these are their siblings all around them. They lived close to the Kentucky river in Valley view long branch area up in the holler with other kin folk and farmed and raised chickens. Herschel also was a hemp farmer during WWII.His brothers names were Bucky,Clarence,Albert,Emmett,Calvin and sisters were Alma,Emma and Grace.

Here is my wonderful Great Grand parents. They were GREAT! Granny made the best tea and Pappy grew the biggest strawberries along with his bee hive and chicken incubating. They had a lot of love for the grandkids! Anyone with Genealogy info on Herschel Valentine Goins b.Feb 9 1890 d.June 30 1965 Herschels mother was Isabelle Sowers/Saurs. They were in KY near Richmond at the turn of the century. Thanks!

Mary was born in 1845 and married Richard M Wood born 1844. They both were from Coosa Co.Alabama. They had a daughter named Signey Elizabeth Wood Born 10 May 1868 in Coosa Co. died 24 May 1924 in Childersburg Alabama. I can go back to 1818 with William S.Chancelor family and 1816 with the Commadore Wood family. Feel free to contact me and maybe we can exchange information.

Signey was born on May 10,1868 in Coosa Co.Alabama and she married Deniel Edwin Finn born 27 Nov.1856 and had 7 kids one daughter was Dixie Evelyn Finn my Great Grandmother.The other children were Mary,Lucy,Janie,Elizabeth,Richard and Chancellor. I can go back to early 1800's for these family's Finn,Wood,Chancellor.
