Penny Marshall & Rob Reiner, 1971
A photo of the backyard wedding of Penny Marshall and Rob Reiner in 1971.
The daughter of Marjorie Marshall, a tap dance teacher, and Tony Marshall, a film director and producer, and the sister of Garry Marshall (her sister was a casting director and producer), it's not surprising that Penny entered the entertainment industry as well. She was a actress (probably best known for the series "Laverne and Shirley), director, and producer. She brought us years of laughter in her productions.
She married Rob Reiner in 1971 (himself a well known entertainer and the son of Carl Reiner) and they were married for a decade. A previous marriage resulted in a daughter, Tracy (who is also an actor), and Rob adopted her.
Penny died of complications from diabetes on December 18, 2018 in Los Angeles CA - a continent away from her birthplace, The Bronx, New York City.

Annie Dolva Parsons
I've "rescued" an old photograph of Annie Dolra or Dolva PARSONS which was taken at the Harnish Studio in Albany, OR on 31 Dec 1906. Annie's age is not completely visible on the back of the photograph so all I can see is ? years 4 months and 29 days old, not the actual number of years, but I'm guessing she is about 4-5 years old at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Annie and her family:
Dolora or Dolva Annie PARSONS was b. abt 1901 of 1902 in Marion, OR to parents Charles C. PARSONS (1870-1955) and Katie L. WALLACE (1879-1909). Annie married twice first to Cassius Everett HEAGY (1891-1945) and then to Clarence B. PHELPS (1895-1966).
I am hoping to locate someone from Annie’s family so that this precious old photograph can be returned to the care of her family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley

Girl with Stocking on Christmas Eve
Hanging a stocking for Santa to fill around 1901.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there; Merry Christmas Eve everyone, from our family to yours -1901

Catherine Matheson
A photo of Catherine Matheson (born 1974) with Marion, Martha, and Doris. This is a studio photo of my ancestor Catherine Matheson (born 1874) and her friends, possibly all teachers in New York, taken in the 1890s or 1900s.
I have drawn a blank with Catherine for a good few years and hope that the other young ladies in the photo will have some descendants who will recognise them?
The names were written on the back but unfortunately there are no Studio/Photographer names to aid further identification.
Thanks for looking.
