My dad, Fred Ray Smith, was born 17 June, 1918 and died 6 Nov 2006. He was a good father, husband and grandfather. He served in the US Navy, was a barber and Minister of the Church of Christ for as long as I can remember. He will be missed tremdously. We put his body to rest in the Dysartsville Church of Christ, Nebo McDowell County NC.

Annis Cordelia Osborne Ray
The daughter of David Lincoln and Margaret O. Graybeal Osborne of Ashe County, NC., and sister to my grandmother, Mary Caldona Osborne Curd. She married Joe Ray. She was accidently shot in the chest at her home in Ashe County.

McCall's Funeral Home
This is a picture of the 'old' and 'older' McCall's Funeral Home in Marion, McDowell Co. NC. It has since been remodeled and has a new name. A lot of my family have passed through these doors for the last time.
