Coal Dock Workers 16 August 1887: Workers of the Frank Williams & Co. Coal Company Buffalo, New York Summer 1887. They are the Coal Dock workers on Lake Erie .My gr-gr-grandfather is identified with the arrow in the front row.

Mary Leona Smith was born on December 11, 1892, in Salt Lake City, Utah, her father, Hyram, was 24 and her mother, Sarah, was 22. She married Alvin Theobald Thorup on April 15, 1914, in her hometown. They had three children in 11 years. She died on December 30, 1981, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the age of 89. Here is a picture of her and her siblings! Mary Leona is the one in the chair.
