Smith Siblings, Utah
Mary Leona Smith was born on December 11, 1892, in Salt Lake City, Utah, her father, Hyram, was 24 and her mother, Sarah, was 22. She married Alvin Theobald Thorup on April 15, 1914, in her hometown. They had three children in 11 years. She died on December 30, 1981, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the age of 89. Here is a picture of her and her siblings! Mary Leona is the one in the chair.

She married Bertil Gustave Kallman on December 9, 1950, in Multnomah, Oregon. She died on January 25, 1965, in Clackamas, Oregon, at the age of 49, and was buried in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Thomas Jefferson Pitchford & sons, NC
Dr. Thomas Jefferson Pitchford & six sons: Thomas served in the NC State Senate. These sons were in the Confederate Army. Samuel enlisted but was sent home because of his age. 1 son was killed in the Battle of 7 Pines, another was shot in one of the last battles, dying on the way home.
