Charles Oscar Butler children. He had several wives. His first wife Lina Stokes Butler, my great grandmother, died a couple of years after my grandmother Mattie Adeline was born.Lina Stokes was born March 13, 1870 and died January 30, 1896 in Georgia.

Probably taken in Macon, Georgia. She came to work in Macon in the 40's.

Charles Robert Yarbrough. Born May 4, 1922 in Nickleville, Wilkinson County, Georgia. Died April 21, 2015 in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia. Served in WWII abroad the USS Missouri.

Nellie Rhoda Stephens Duvall. Born April 1883. Died December 1969. Married John Lewis Duvall June 12, 1913.

Born November 1918. Died August 1990.

This is John Frank Duvall (October 19, 1924- July 15, 1986) and Sarah Christine Duvall(November 13, 1923- September
22, 2007). They were the children of John Lewis Duvall and Nellie Stephens Duvall of Greene County, Georgia.

I've recovered an old photograph album from the late 1800's including faculty and students from Oberlin College which includes a photograph of Frances BILLINGS DUVALL. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's or 1890's with Frances likely in her 20's at the time it was taken. Most of the photographs, like this one was taken by the Pfeifer Studio from Columbus, OH who probably came to take all the photographs at the Oberlin campus. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Frances and her family:

Frances L. BILLINGS was b. Aug 1868 in Randolph, NY to parents Justice or Justus Warren BILLINGS (1816-1887) and Jane Permelia THOMPSON (1829-1877). Frances had one full sibling, a brother Justice W. BILLINGS and 8 half siblings from her mother’s previous marriage including Hermas or Hermes or Herron Irving; Ella Augusta “Ellen”; Arthur William; Jennie; Minnie; Frederick; Edith; and Alice Estelle BURT, all born between 1847 and 1863 and 5 half siblings from her father’s previous marriage including Cynthia J.; May Virginia; Mary; Deette “Etta” J.; and Ella Viola BILLINGS, all born between 1843 and 1854.

Frances married Oliver Harvey DUVALL (1865-1929) in 1896 and they had one daughter, Florence Elizabeth DUVALL (1904-1971). After her husband died she married Cyrus G. BALDWIN. Frances died in 1956 in California and is buried in the Oak Park Cemetery in Claremont, CA.
