This is a picture of 5 of the 6 Kimberlin girls born to John C Kimberlin and Ada Lou Davis Kimberlin. They are Ina, Ava, Kay, Marie and Jessie. Jessie is my mother. She was b. 16 May 1924 in Brushy Tx.

John C Kimberlin and wife Ada Lou Davis
This is a picture of my grandparents, John C Kimberlin and Ada Lou Davis Kimberlin. John was b.4 Nov 1887 in Lee Co Va. he is the son of John J. Kimberlin and Minerva J. Kimberling. Ada was b.24 Oct 1889 in Clinton Co Ky. she is the dau of General Sheridan Davis and Mary Elizabeth Stintson. I have alot of info on the Kimberlin and Davis families from this area. Not so much on the Kimberling and Stintson line. If these lines are familiar to you I would love to hear from you and share information. Email me at [contact link].

I am sure this picture was taken shortly after my father and mother were married. 24 May 1942 in Farmersville Tx. John b.9 June 1920 Prescott Ark. Jessie b. 16 May 1924 Brushy Tx. He is the son of John D Brown and Idella Smith, she is the dau. of John C. Kimberlin and Ada L Davis. If you are interested in any of these surnames please contact me at [contact link]. I have alot of info on the Kimberlin/Davis line but still working on the Brown/Smith and related family lines.

John David Brown and gdaughter
This is a picture of my grandfather,John David Brown Sr and his grandaughter, Thelma Johnston. I am assuming that this photo was taken in Arkansas which is where they were living when Thelma was around this age. My Grandfather died Oct 8, 1953, in Texarkana Ark and is buried in the Rocky Mound Cemetery in Fouke Arkansas. I never met him as I was not born until 1957. His family is my brick wall and the pursuit of my current research on the Brown family.

John David Brown Jr
This is a picture of my Dad, John David Brown Jr. It was taken sometime between Jan of 1945-April 1947 while he was serving in the Marines during WWII. He served in the 1st., 2nd, and 3rd Marine Division at Iwo Jima. Also in the 6th Div at Okinawa. Also served in the 5th Amphibians. He was a Corporal at the time of discharge.
