Daniel Pinna:
A photo of Ethel Granger, who had the smallest waist size in recent history measuring in at 36-13-39.
She first put on a corset to please her husband, astronomer William Arnold Granger. And then he bought smaller and smaller corsets, asking her to wear them 24 hours a day - she complied. Her beginning waist size was 23 inches.
She made the Guinness Book of Records and was the record holder until 1998, when they changed the category to "Woman alive with the smallest waist".

Back of photo: "Edward Allan Gisburne..age 2 years, 6 months X-mas 1894". Edward is listed in the Rhode Island Births, 1636-1930: parents listed as Edward E. & Nellie W. Gisburne, with date of birth June 14, 1892. In the 1910 US Census Edward is listed living with his grandmother, Catherine Allen in Quincy, MA.

"There is A man of strength,wisdom and a awesome Guide who my mom and her siblings along with Texas Government feared back in the early 1970s his name was Indian Joe who was fighting Government who was trying to steal his land. He no doubt scared my great uncle Skipper POWELL and my uncle Utzi and my mom many others almost to their deaths they told story of. Even houston newspapers and news had him all wrong. I honesty know for fact he is good man. Indian Joe is my spiritual friend who has kept me protected for anytime evil entered my land he made it known to everyone one these men around conroe once you walk inside Unique Lady Kittyz gate you want ever forget oh Indian Joe. Gabriel,Derek,John Weaver and many more men tell you Indian Joe Scared the poop out them. They would never enter inside her gate again. That's why i say he my friend and special to me for he sang a song with the red cardinals that lead me to mystery of mother missing 2yrs. She found and will be going home soon. Indian Joe says he will always keep her protected and the bird's along with the mother ,and him will continue to singing every day at 445am till 7am so her son knows she with him everyday.."

I’ve got an old studio photograph of Rev. John POLLOCK which was taken at the Gilbert Temple Studio in Clinton, IA. John is identified as “Brother” on the back of this photograph which was likely taken in the 1890’s with John appearing to be in his 60’s or 70’s at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding John and his family:
John POLLOCK was b. 3 Oct 1821 in Strabane, Ireland, to James POLLOCK (1785-1864) and Margaret MCINTIRE (1797-1837) who were married in Ireland in 1820. John was one of 10 children born to this couple including John; Isabella; Joseph; Andrew; Aaron; William; Ann; James; Margaret; and Eliza POLLOCK, all born between 1821 and 1837. John married Eunice or Emmice Alvira or Elvira ELLIS (1824-1895) on 1 May 1849 in Woodstock, VT.
John and his wife had 5 children including Loring Lee POLLOCK (b. 1851); John Loring POLLOCK (1852-1941); Charles Andrew POLLOCK (1853-1928); William Ellsworth or Elsworth POLLOCK (1861-1922); and Guy Evans POLLOCK, all born between 1851 and 1865. John died 23 Feb 1896 in Clinton County, IA and is buried in the Oakland Cemetery in Clinton, IA.

I have an old studio photograph of Maud STURGEON which was taken at the Ashbaucher Studio in Bluffton, IN. The photograph was likely taken in the 1880’s or 1890’s with Maud appearing to be in her 20’s or 30's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Maud and her family:
Maude STURGEON was b. 23 Jan 1854 in Wells County, IN to parents John Paultney or Poultney STURGEON (1810-1874) and Mercy CHALFANT (1827-1880). Maude was one of 7 children born to this couple including Clarinda “Clary”; Maude; Henry; Sedora “Dora” E.; James Albert; Mary E.; and Nancy Jane STURGEON, all born between 1849 and 1867. It appears that her father was married previously and had another daughter, Mary A. STURGEON (b. 1843). Maude died 5 Feb 1921 in Bluffton, IN.

This is Franklin Ritter (1847-1927).
He was my 2nd Great Grandfather.
He was born in Wayne Co., OH and lived many places in his life.
His parents moved to Steuben Co., Indiana along with many other Ritter families
somewhere between the 1860 and 1870 census.
by 1900 He moved his wife and children to Williams Co., OH
1910 they were in Isabella Co., Michigan
1920 he was in Seneca Co., OH and that is where he died in 1927

I have an old studio photograph of Sebastian WILLACKER which was taken at the Pennington Studio in New Washington, OH. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with Sebastian likely in his 60's at the time it was taken. He is also identified as "Cousin to Great Grandma WIETHMANS". Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Sebastian and his family:
Sebastian WILLACKER was b. 17 or 19 or 26 Mar 1830 in Nuremberg or Vasbuhl, Germany to parents Adam WILLACKER (1799-1874) and Elizabeth “Elise” or “Elsie” SCHMUCK (1803-1870) who were married 19 Aug 1823 in Vasbuhl, Germany. Sebastian was one of 19 children born to this couple including Eva; Anton; Adam; Adam; Anton; Jonas; Sebastian; Barbara; Andrew; Andrew; Eva; Eva; Kasper Boniface; Anna Elizabeth; A. M. Franzika; Anonyma; Margaret Antonia; Franz Ludwig; and George Severin WILLACKER, all born between 1824 and 1852.
Sebastian married Mary Magdalena or Madaline “Lena” KELLER (1834-1902) on 3 Sept 1854 in Vasbuhl, Germany and they had 10 children including Magdalena Philomena “Minnie”; Elizabeth “Lizzie”; Victoria Barbara; George B. or P.; Charles Sebastian; Joseph Anthony; John Henry; Mary Sheridan; Peter Alphonse; and Michael WILLACKER all born between 1855 and 1875. Sebastian died 7 or 14 or 16 or 17 Dec 1911 in Mayfield or Traverse City, MI and he is buried in the Saint Mary of Hannah Catholic Church Cemetery in Hannah, MI.

I have an old studio photograph identified as Freddy THOMPSON which was taken at the Wells & Goodwin Studio in Norwich, NY and dated 11 Sept 1871. Freddy is identified as 3 years old at the time the photograph was taken. I believe that this is a photograph of Frederick F. THOMPSON and based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Freddy and his family:
Frederick “Freddy” Foote THOMPSON was b. 1869 in Norwich, NY to parents James Guernsey THOMPSON (1829-1892) and Julia Frances FOOTE (1834-1902). Freddy had two siblings including William James THOMPSON (1864-1944) and Dillaye G. THOMPSON (1872-1919). Freddy died in Mar 1902 in Mexico City, Mexico.

I have an old studio photograph of Myrtle CASTNER which was taken at the A. B. de GROAT Studio in Bath, NY. The photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900's with Myrtle likely in her 20's at the time. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Myrtle and her family:
Mary Myrtle FLEET was b. 9 May 1889 in Schuyler County, NY to parents Daniel Edgar FLEET (b. 1846) and Lucinda GOLTRY or GAULTRY or GOLTRA (b. 1852). Myrtle was one of 8 children born to this couple including Delphene or Dellaphene; Vincent Conklin; Julia E.; Cora Mae; Jesse Paul; John W.; Emerson Bisale; and Mary Myrtle FLEET, all born between 1872 and 1889. Myrtle married Clarence Alvin CASTNER (1894-1964) on 17 Jun 1914 in Orange, NY and they had a daughter, Clara Lucille CASTNER KELLY(1918-1993).
Myrtle died 22 Aug 1967 in New York and is buried in the Rural Cemetery in Hornell, NY.

The photograph was taken in 1900 with Meb appearing to be about 4 years old at the time it was taken. I believe that this is a photograph of Medburn "Meb" Creamer MORRISON and based on limited research has gathered the following information regarding Meb and his family:
Medburn “Meb” Cremer or Creamer MORRISON was b. 26 Mar 1897 in Washington, IA to parents William Blanchard MORRISON (b. 1869) and Amanda “Manda” Blanche or Blanch CREMER (b. 1872) who were married on 6 Mar 1890 in Washington Township, Wapello Co., IA. Meb was one of 5 children born to this couple including Micher D.; Mildred Hazel; Membrer G.; Medburn “Meb” Cremer or Creamer; and Hellen or Helen Irene MORRISON, all born between 1894 and 1906.
Meb was married twice, first to Florence Lettie or Letta LATTA (1899-1971) on 22 Dec 1920 in Ottumwa, IA and they had a daughter Ruth Araminta or Armita MORRISON (1921-2010). He was then married to Ann or Anna Elizabeth SCHIKORSKY (1903-1987) on 28 or 29 Apr 1936 in St. Louis County, MO. Meb died on 20 May 1969 in Portland, OR and is buried at the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Portland, OR.
