Grandma would have turned 89 just two hours ago! This lovely colorized photo of my grandmother was shared with me by my A(u)nt Pam on 10/11/19. She shared with me today at lunch with my mother at Siena Bistro in Willow Glen that she keeps this photo on her desk. I can see why! What a bright light. Not exactly sure of grandma’s age or exact date, but she’s just old enough where I can see in her face the person she later became. Very nice dress btw.

I’ve “rescued” an old tintype photograph of children Cora and Arthur DEAN which appears to have been taken in the 1870’s or 1880’s. There is no studio or location indicated on the paper sleeve that it is mounted in so I have no idea where it originated. The photograph was located in Washington State though that certainly doesn’t mean it was taken there. The two children in the photograph appear to be about 2- 4 years old at the time. Cora is the youngest of the two children. If you are a member of this DEAN Family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

I’ve “rescued” an old photograph of two children identified as the son and daughter of Mrs. F. R. BAGLEY which was taken at the Davis Studio in Seattle, Washington in the early 1900’s. The children appear to be about 4-7 years old at the time, the youngest being the boy. The following address appears on the back of the photograph for Mrs. BAGLEY – Route #5 Box 232 Seattle WA with a note that this is at the “Southwest corner of Foster School Grounds in Foster” which I believe is now within Tukwila, WA. In addition the name Mrs. Geo HEPENSTON also is written on the back as if that might be who the photograph was gifted to? I’m hoping to locate someone from this BAGLEY Family so that the photograph can be returned to the care of this family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
